Send for review and approve posts
How reviews work, who can approve, and how to require a reviewer.
Sending for review
When a draft is ready, choose Send for review. Growdex checks it first: it needs a title, at least one channel, and a caption within each channel's limit (plus any media the channel needs). You can ask specific people to review it and add a note.
Reviewers get a notification and an email. While a post is in review it's locked; choose Withdraw if you need to change it.
Reviewing
Reviewers open the post and choose:
- Approve, or
- Request changes, with feedback for the author.
When changes are requested, the author edits the post and sends it again. Growdex keeps every version, with each decision and comment, in the post's history.
In a team, you can't approve your own post. If you work alone, you approve your own posts.
Requiring a reviewer
In Settings → Team & approvals, owners, administrators and brand managers can name people who must approve every post for a brand. A post is then approved only once all of them have approved it. Without rules, the first approval settles it. Required reviewers are part of the Team and Agency plans.
Once approved, the post is ready to schedule.
