Ideas and drafts

Capture ideas, turn them into drafts and write a caption for each channel.

Ideas

The Ideas board keeps post ideas in three lanes: Captured, Developing and Ready. Add a title, notes and a campaign tag, and move ideas along as they take shape. Archive the ones you won't use; you can restore them later.

When an idea is ready, choose Start draft. Growdex creates a draft with the idea's notes as the starting caption.

Drafts

In a draft you write:

  • a title (for your team; it isn't posted);
  • one caption shared by every channel;
  • the channels it's for.

Each channel uses the shared caption unless you give it its own, and shows a live character count against that platform's limit. Add photos, videos or a PDF from your media, and pick a format where a channel offers one.

When the draft is ready, send it for review, or approve it yourself if you work alone.
